We decided to combine the useful with the pleasant and support the Masurian organic apiary run by the Woman Beekeeper by preparing and decorating single-family mating nucs, which were in high demand at the apiary.

These small hives are used for rearing queen bees and transporting new bee colonies… It all fits perfectly: we were with our family in Masuria, working on the nucs — and in this way, we prepared and decorated quite a few of them, handing them over to the queen bees on Mother’s Day!

We are proud to have supported the Masurian apiary and to have done something truly special together — literally “honey for the heart.”
