GirlsGoNet – April 20–21

2,200 cyberattacks per day, one attack every 39 seconds — and yet, only 24% of professionals in the cybersecurity field are women. We decided to support young women who want to develop their careers in IT, particularly in cybersecurity. This led to the idea of organizing the GirlsGoNet workshop titled “Is Cybersecurity the Right Career Path Today?”, which we hosted in collaboration with the Try IT Foundation.

The workshop brought together 20 young women — master’s students and recent IT graduates — who are currently considering their professional career paths. It took place at SoftFlow’s Warsaw office on April 20–21, and participation was free of charge.

The sessions featured six amazing women speakers who work in cybersecurity roles (“cyber guardians”) at major corporations and organizations, as well as engineers from SoftFlow.
